International Graduate Admissions Procedure
International students interested in a Master’s program at Sciences Po Lille must submit an online application.
This procedure is open to applicants who have obtained or will obtain an undergraduate degree abroad.
The procedure also applies to applicants to the Lafayette Fellowship, who must apply simultaneously for the fellowship and for admission to Sciences Po Lille.
Timeline
Application opening: Tuesday, December 15, 2026
Application deadline: Sunday, January 31, 2027
Interview (if eligible) February 15-19, 2027 (online)
Results: March 1, 2027
Required documents
To apply, candidates must complete our application form and upload the following documents to the drive that will open in December:
• Resume/CV
• Statement of purpose
• Essay: candidates are required to choose an issue of contemporary concern and discuss it in relation to the Master’s program to which they are applying (1,000 words, including references and bibliography)
• Copy of passport or identity card
• University transcripts from the last three years
• Certified diplomas
• Certificates of internships or employment
• Two letters of recommendation. These must be sent directly by the referee to: international.admissions@sciencespo-lille.eu
Additional requirement
Certification of French language proficiency is required for all Master’s programmes except the Master’s programme in Multilateralism and Transnational Governance (MTG).
Applying for more than one program
If you wish to apply for more than one program, you must submit a separate application form for each program, uploading the same documents, except for the statement of purpose and the essay, which should be tailored to the program.

Please note that your registration will be validated once you have paid the application fees for the Master’s entrance examination.
